Heatspreader
The Heatspreade is a defined thermal interface between the module and the customer individual cooling solution.
Passive Cooling System
embedded-logic passive cooling systems replace the heatspreader with a special passive cooler. Depending of the processor performance and the application ambiance additional airflow within the system may be required.
Active Cooling System
embedded-logic active cooling systems replace the heatspreader with a special silent and reliable, high-performance fan.
Attention
The customer has the responsibility to ensure that the DIE temperature of the processor does not exceed 100°C. Permanent overheating may destroy the module! In case the temperature exceeds 100°C the environmental temperature must be reduced. Under certain circumstances sufficient air circulation must be provided.
